Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team. The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data across various systems and databases. This position requires strong attention to detail, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to manage large volumes of data efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Input data from various sources (paper documents, online forms, spreadsheets, etc.) into company databases or software systems.
- Verify the accuracy of data, identify errors, and make necessary corrections or updates.
- Maintain and organize digital and paper records in accordance with company policies.
- Review and organize documents for data input, ensuring all required information is complete.
- Assist in generating reports, charts, and other documents as needed by management.
- Perform routine data audits to ensure accuracy and consistency of information.
- Help with general office duties, including answering phone calls and filing documents, as required.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Maintain an organized and efficient workflow to meet deadlines and ensure high-quality output.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree or higher is a plus).
- Proven experience in data entry or administrative roles.
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy when entering data.
- Excellent typing skills with a minimum typing speed of [X] words per minute.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.) and data management systems.
